We live in the Cook Islands. My mum broke her hip but unfortunately the operation could not be carried out here. Jarome kindly accepted my mums case. We were transferred to Middlemore hospital where my mother eventually got her hip replacement by Jarome. She is doing extremely in actual fact better than before. God bless this gentleman.

I feel extremely fortunate to have had Jarome Bentley and Frankton Hospital for my surgery. The level of care and professionalism was impeccable throughout the process. I am a committed surfer and a Science Teacher. The surgery itself was life changing.

I had my original pelvic surgery done at another hospital which unfortunately did no heal and left me on crutches. Mr. Bentley decided to take up my case and redid the operation. The operation took 5 hours. Now I’m able to walk again. I’m not perfect but certainly a lot better and no longer use crutches. The surgery was done at Mercy Ascot. Thanks mate.

Jarome is a very good surgeon and very helpful and easy to talk to about my treatment. He has replaced both my hips and both are working well, I am now pain free when walking. I would recommend him to anyone who needs this type of surgery.

Jarome has did both my knee replacements at the same time using the MAKO robot. They were so good that I started mowing my lawns at 2 weeks which was a big mistake! Unfortunately I did not follow the instructions that Mr. Bentley left. I had a bleed into my left knee which eventually went away after a month. I made a full recovery of both knees by 3 months.

I have had total knee replacement surgery on both knees over the last three years. I made full recovery within 6 months of each surgery. (Surgery was done at Franklin using Navigation).

I greatly appreciate that my surgeon chose me to have my surgery as soon as their was an opening. He was an excellent surgeon and authentically interested in my situation and recovery. I was able to talk to ask questions and talk to him freely without feeling like he was impatient. He made me feel like my recovery was important to him, not just professionally, but as a person.

I have had a very positive experience with my surgery. Dr Bentley and his team were friendly, helpful and I couldn't of asked for anything more. I am progressing very well after my surgery and am very thankful to have been able to have this operation. The hospital I had my operation Ormiston hospital were also fantastic and it was a very pleasant few days stay. All in all I couldn't be more satisfied with how the whole process went, from the initial meeting with my surgeon at the super clinic, to when I was discharged from the hospital and the follow up appointments.

Mr. Bentley is a good doctor. I broke my leg in the cook islands playing soccer. My leg was treated in a cast but healed crooked. This affected my ankle and knee. We were referred by our local surgeon 18 months later to NZ for further treatment. Jarome rebroke my leg and straightened it by putting a metal pin inside. My leg has healed straight and is 100% better. I now spend most of my days running from my mum now.

Generally a good bloke and down to earth.

Mr Bentley made a trying experience into a reasonable experience as it was my first time I stayed in a hospital. I would definitely recommend him to someone who needs this service.

I’ve had MAKO robotic knee replacements on both sides. I was off crutches by 4 weeks and all my pain meds at 6 weeks. I’m extremely grateful to Jarome and his team. I had my surgery at Franklin private hospital.
